This blog honors all soldiers who fought the Japanese in the Philippines during World War Two. It can be a research tool for you and gives me the opportunity to honor my father who fought on Bataan. God Bless our soldiers then, now and in the future.
Robert, While doing research I saw your Bataan Son blog and went through all of it since my cousin Edward Gorodesky was there. Lo and behold, I found that your father and my cousin were together. For many years, our family was unaware of the how Edward perished, however, in recent years I discovered the military records which were made available. We now know that Edward was shot while trying to escape from the Shinyo Maru, one of the "hellships". Thank you for doing what you have done.
